'The Prayer'

Bloc Party release 'The Prayer' on January 29th 2007 via Wichita Recordings. It'll be available on CD, two 7" vinyls, and as a download bundle with exclusive remixes.

Exclusive remixes of 'The Prayer' will include a reworking by the hotly tipped Parisian DJ, Para One, a perfect drum and bass production from the UK’s Break & Silent Witness and a dirty roller from new UK duo Does It Offend You, Yeah?

Bloc Party have also announced an extra tour date to take place on 24th January 2007 at The Old Fire Station in Bournemouth, Matt's hometown. Tickets are available now from Marshals.

Yes, hopefully if anyone connected with the band reads this, they'll put in a request to have England be available on cd as well..

Possibly my favorite Bloc Party song ever..

The only 2 songs we heard out of the album as B-sides for the first single ! I'll buy everything I think, and we're going to have new songs for the 2nd single, it's nice !

Yeh i was shocked when England wasnt one of the tracks on the album. I'm glad Bloc are puttin it as a B side but if would be even better if they could put it on a CD instead of vinyll

I luuuuurve vinyl so I'm not fussed, plus England will probably be released Digitally too so you neednt worry. And although WWL will be on the CD I'm still happy I preordered the I Still Remember 7"

will these b-sides be the same on the single release of "I Still Remember" everywhere else in the world? or will we be able to get some extra b-sides by importing the single?

The only ISR b-side confirmed at the moment is We Were Lovers so at the moment you get more by importing. But full ISR details haven't been announced yet so I dont know.
