The Secret's Out...another new Bloc Party song?!?

Nope, no-one saw this one coming...a brand new Bloc Party track has surfaced online...'Secret', and it's a scorcher! (Think 'Luno' with some extra "ahh-oooh"s, an old-skool-Bloc guitar line and a beautifully warm chorus). Apparently this isn't going to be available anywhere else, so enjoy!!

Okay, this is quite a lengthy process, but I have discovered a way to download this secret song...

(For those without Firefox or without the required plug-in. For those of you with Firefox and Fast Video Download, skip ahead...)

#1. Make sure you have downloaded and installed Mozilla FireFox Internet Browser.
#2. Go into the Add-Ons portion of the Tools drop-box and click the link 'Get Extensions' from the bottom right of the corner.
#3. Find the Fast Video Download add-on. Download and install it.

(Skipped)

#1. enter in this address EXACTLY: http://www.exclaim.ca/blocparty/secret.mov

#2. click the little icon in the bottom right of your browser window, and it will bring up a save-as box labeled 'secret' as a quicktime file.

#3. Now, locate, download, and install the "Total Video Converter from this site: http://www.effectmatrix.com/total-video-converter/

#4. Once installed, click "new task", and select your new (.mov) file, and then look for 'audio', and click (.mp3), then (.mp3) again.

#5. wait a minute or two, and voila!
You now have the new B.P. song.

woah...steady on. I don't see any problem with it...it's been put up legally on a website for anyone to listen to, and I'm just drawing people's attention to it. Surely Bloc Party would want as many peaople to hear the song as possible?

This song is a litte less "Luno" and more of an early version of what became "Song For Clay (Disappear Here)"... which isn't a bad thing, really. :) Bad ass song regardless!
