Bloc Party have confirmed their first live performance of 2008...an appearance at the V Festival in Toronto, Canada on September 6th. Tickets for the festival are priced at $87 for one day or $159 for a two day pass and all go on sale from today. Head here for more info!
In other news, Pin Me Down have confirmed that their first single, 'Cryptic', will be released on May 12th 2008. It'll come in 12" vinyl or digital format, featuring remixes by Phones (Paul Epworth), Jamie Ellis and Russell Lissack and Dave P & Adam Sparkles. More details coming soon! In January 2006, experimental folk band, Tunng, released their cover of 'The Pioneers' - a haunting, atmospheric take on the original track which was featured in The O.C. (Season 3, Episode 24 - The Man of the Year, fact fans). Download it here (courtesy of Visions and Revisions).

Here're two new 'Sunday' remixes for your aural joy, of which the Junkie XL remix is most worth downloading (it's essentially a souped up version of the original track).
