i hope u all know that gordy actually tried out for being the guitarist in bloc party, so umm, he PLAYS GUITAR!!!!!!!!

peanuts, i dont think you get what im trying to say. what im saying is, waaaaaaay before they truly became bloc party, Gordon actually tried out for guitar in the band. Thing is, since russell and kele already filled that out, he became the bassist of the band. They gave him the bass part of a song they created and he was the first out of all the bassists who already tried out to be able play it flawlessly. Gordon can play guitar, and it bothers me that people think he cant be good because hes the "bassist" in the band. Gordon, you're my hero.

ok my bad, i dont think anyone doubts that gordy isnt good though, if any of them left the band it would never be the same. His main focus as such is bass but look at all the other instruments he can play, would any others of the band be able to play them? and the way it is fits perfectly and more importantly works, very well!
