well actually i posted anonymous because i really cant be bothered to sign up to an obsessive message board.
as for the band i used to watch bloc party when they first started out playing their first shows in south london when theyd barely get 50 people attending.
thus i think I'm quite wel informed to say that the band have become quite pretentious and arrogant compared to how they were when you could walk up to them after a show.
for example i went to a show recently and one of my mates asked matt to sign an autograph. the self righteous twat then proceeded to say 'can't you see I'm holding stuff' and then sodded off to his tour bus with a parade of oh so indie groupies. so much for fan loyalty eh?
keles the only one with a real education and it shows.

yeah all of them went to university but kele was the only one who went to a decent one. King's is renowned for english literature and the majority of his lyrics demonstrate the superior education he received.

Sociology is a subsidiary of Psychology, which itself is a pseudo-science.
Psychology is a relatively new discipline which relies on statistics and grouping people together based on their characteristics and actions.
These statistics have only been available for just under a century and can be manipulated in any way an individual psychologist sees fit. Thus, psychology is subjective and therefore any of its findings cannot be considered as representing a consensus.
The same does not occur in traditional sciences which rely on an accepted popular opinion to base facts, upon which a new argument can be initiated as a result of experimental evidence.
In essence Psychology actively REQUIRES statistics on which to produce its arguments whereas traditional science uses statistics in order to substatiate or 'prove' experimental findings.

Sorry, it's my mistake that I kind of interpreted 'Mickey Mouse subject' as an insult. I should've looked more into the meaning of the word, with which I was quite unfamiliar since English isn't my first language. I took it as you saying that Sociology is irrelevant.
First, Sociology isn't exactly a subsidiary of Psychology, both disciplines came to prominence in the beginning of the 19th century, Sociology mostly because some people wanted to study society so that they could improve it. True, they are subjective sciences (but of course, nothing is entirely objective), but it has scientific rules and ways of research and analysis. Statistics isn't the only way of getting data, one could also use an observation technique or an experiment. Using statistics is not a crime though, because when done well it can be very reliable. Researchers may show the exact steps they have taken and their research can be redone and checked by any other scientist. Social scientists are very aware of the subjectivity and do their best to control it.
Of course, when it comes to conclusions with explanations for social phenomena, those findings can never be fully proven. Sociology has lead to many theories and viewpoints of society and the social, which are based on scientific research and argumentation, but which aren't an undeniable truth. All these insights do help in understanding the social, it adds knowledge that can be used by anyone to reach certain goals. For instance, political parties can use sociological data to improve bad neighborhoods. It doesn't matter if the data is subjective, because when using the data it's always a matter of opinions and ideals anyway. Sociology is all about getting to know society and the social, knowledge that is very wanted by me and many others :)

unfortunately neither Kele or Russell their degrees and it's the other two who have qualifications. Why you'd take exception to anyone in the band for being less educated though is beyond me. I'm sure you can give me a list of bands whos members have no qualifications at all. As for roundedness well I've met all the guys and I'd say they were all pretty well-rounded. And I expect the one who writes the lyrics is the one who has most opportunity to display 'education' through the music. As a rule drumming isn't so judge. Having said that I think a lot of what Matt plays is pretty sophisticated. Plus he is hands down the best keyboard player in the band. He's done grades!

Matt refused to bend down for us taking a photo with us at a dj set. Well least we got a photo compared to the previous guy. Still least Kele seems to care about the fans.
